PÍLDORA ABORTIVA VS ABORTO

La divergencia de decisiones referidas al peliagudo tema del aborto provoca que un asunto tan relevante se preste a la polémica. Y hablo de decisiones divergentes en lo que atañe al doble rasero de considerar que una joven de 16 años puede abortar sin necesidad de que su padre esté informado, lo cual parece correcto porque debe ser un médico el que esté informado y no unos progenitores de los que la muchacha puede temer su reacción, al mismo tiempo que la píldora abortiva se dispensa sin receta médica.

 

Por supuesto, no es lo mismo tomar una simple medicación que someterse a una intervención quirúrgica, pero, aun asumiendo que no soy especialista en el asunto de la píldora abortiva y que desconozco las reacciones físicas y psíquicas que puede provocar este tratamiento hormonal –sólo sé que para que te receten los habituales anticonceptivos sí se requiere la firma de tu ginecólogo/a, y por algo será…–, me temo que quien ha decidido que se dispense sin receta lo único que ha querido es evitar que se obligue a las administraciones a que abran centros de asistencia médica durante los fines de semana, como debería ser obligado.
